Learning on board and other entertainment

 April 4th, 2025

Ed went out on the jogging trail and went 7 miles, 6 of which were done by the ship!  Sadly, he lost his water bottle a couple of days ago which remains missing.

We attended a masterful lecture by a  retired professor from Sonoma State who spoke about Palma de Mallorca and the island as a whole.  She was a fabulous lecturer whose background is in sociology.  A second lecture was then given by a very uninspiring retired professor on the subject of the ships Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary.  We’ll attend all lectures by the former but not the latter.

The food is great in general and restraint at mealtimes is difficult at best.

Tonight there was the “Not So Newlywed Game” which was surprisingly entertaining.  We are succumbing to the limited available entertainment onboard. πŸ˜‘πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

Once again we will set our watches an hour ahead - which we do every single night!  It does make acclimating to the time change a bit easier really. Ciao!

  1. I love reading the updates. I bet so many days without reprieve from the ship is hard, but hopefully you can find some rest, relaxation and ways to entertain yourself.
