And now for something completely different!
April 29, 2025. No museums today!
Many thanks to Dot, a friend from college days who spent many years in Paris not far from where we now find ourselves. She has been giving us great ideas of things to do and today we did one of them! There is a giant flea market north of Paris called Le Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen consisting of 12 covered markets comprising 7 hectares which dates back to 1870. If you are looking for something quirky, or ancient or mid mod, you’ll find it there. You’ll also fine a tremendous number of other vendors surrounding the market selling all kinds of clothing, shoes, household goods for very little. Knock-offs? Great way to find cheap casual clothing and shoes. Better know your size or be willing to try things on in the open, however.
We spent a good 4 hours in the actual flea market but just “window shopped” which was great fun, topping it off with a good meal and a “refreshing beverage”.

Lots of eye candy !! Hugs D.
