Louis Vuitton Foundation

We took the métro to Neuilly-Sur-Seine to visit the Louis Vuitton Foundation where the current exhibit is a massive collection of the works of David Hockney. This was another WOW. We love seeing the progression of an artist across his life span (the Van Gogh Museum used to be this way) and that’s exactly how his works were presented. Suffice it to say, there were hundreds of his works displayed.

The highlight for us was a video presentation done on three walls, completely enveloping the viewer in the works he did for several operas. I need to splice them together but here they are.
After that we had a yummy lunch in the park associated with the museum.
And then discovered how fun the park is - it’s a bit of a throwback to permanent, simpler rides geared for younger children .
The entire park was just simply charming! Vive la France!
