Low key day

 May 6, 2025

We are realizing that we only have 10 days left here.  The time has really flown and it’s easy to see how spending 2-3 months would be even better.

Today was the group lunch with our cohort and the one that arrived on Sunday.  This latest group is quite small - only 5 women.  They all seemed a little disoriented today but that’s par for the course at this stage I guess.  After lunch at Poppy, Ed and I set off for the Jardin des Plantes, near the Sorbonne.  The park is large and quite wooded in parts but seems a bit run down in general.  The main attraction - the indoor garden- was closed though the signs say it should be open.  We did find a couple of nice spots - see below

However, I had probably overdone it yesterday with our Montmartre adventure as my ankle started talking to me so we made our way home.

Time for a slapstick spoof of WW II in French.

Tomorrow we have a baking class. Oh là là. 🥖
