Sailing into Stavanger Norway this morning was about the most exciting event of the day. We went on the included walk of the town and a tour of the Oil Museum. The oil museum- an interesting attempt to make drilling for oil fascinating.  The area has been made rich by oil yet has tried to remain charming.  Everything was closed today as it’s a national holiday.

A church - originally Catholic made protestant during the reformation.  Odd juxtaposition with the Egyptian display outside!
